Gloria (Béatrice Dalle) es una mujer de 40 años, sin trabajo, sin familia, sin
domicilio fijo, que pasa la mayoría del tiempo en un bar de Nancy.
Frances (Emmanuelle Béart), una popular presentadora de París, está casada con
Claude, un renombrado escritor; pero, si bien en público parecen la
pareja perfecta, en privado, ella se acuesta con mujeres, y él hace lo
propio con hombres.
La historia retrocede entonces a la década de los
80, cuando Gloria y Frances se conocieron en un hospital psiquiátrico.
Una época en la que se amaban con la pasión propia de la adolescencia:
todo era salvaje e intenso, sexo, drogas y punk rock. Veinte años
después, sus caminos están a punto de cruzarse de nuevo.
